Insurance Broker Referral Program Guidelines
Our program operates in strict compliance with the regulations set forth by provincial authorities such as the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) and the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO). These bodies dictate the framework within which insurance brokers and referral programs must operate.
Program Details
Licensed Referrals:
In line with provincial regulations, licensed professionals, including life insurance agents, employee benefits brokers, and mortgage brokers, are eligible to receive a share of P&C insurance commissions. This arrangement benefits from a natural synergy between different types of client services, enhancing the value we can offer.
Non-Licensed Referrals:
While direct commission sharing is not permissible with non-licensed individuals, their referrals are still invaluable to us. We have designed a compliant referral program for non-licensed individuals that includes participation in a lottery. Every referral enters you into a draw for a chance to win up to $1,000, either as a pre-paid credit card or as a donation to a charity of your choice on your behalf, courtesy of New World Agency.
