This page explains how personal information is collected, used, shared, stored, and protected when the insured receives insurance advice or purchases insurance products through our agency.
This Advisor Privacy Statement is separate from our standard Website Privacy Policy, which governs information collected through online interactions.

To provide accurate advice and access to insurance products, we collect certain personal information about the insured. New World Agency Inc. complies with:

To provide the insured with appropriate advice and insurance products, personal information may be shared with parties that include, but are not limited to:
- Insurers and underwriters
- Managing General Agencies (MGAs)
- Reinsurers
- Administrative and technology service providers
- Industry specialists or consultants assisting with complex cases
- Regulatory or legal authorities where required
New World Agency Inc. conducts its life and accident and sickness insurance business through HUB Financial Inc., which provides administrative services to insurers.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information with unrelated organizations for their own marketing purposes.
Where and How Personal Information Is Stored
Personal information may be stored or processed in the insured’s province of residence, elsewhere in Canada, or in other jurisdictions, depending on the systems used by insurers and service providers. When information is stored or processed outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, including possible access by courts, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities.
Regardless of location, reasonable safeguards are in place to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
Accuracy and Updates
Accurate and current information allows us to make appropriate recommendations. We make reasonable efforts to keep personal information in our records accurate and up to date and may periodically ask the insured to review and confirm information. The insured is encouraged to advise us promptly of any changes to their personal, financial, or medical circumstances.
Your Privacy Rights
Subject to legal and contractual restrictions, the insured has the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold
- Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request details about how personal information is being used and disclosed
- Request deletion of personal information where legally permitted
- Request a copy of their personal information in a structured, commonly used digital format
- Withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, subject to reasonable notice and legal restrictions
Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide certain services, arrange coverage, or maintain the advisor–client relationship.
Electronic Communications (CASL)
With consent, New World Agency Inc. may communicate electronically with the insured regarding insurance needs, coverage updates, renewals, claims support, and products or services that may be of interest. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Advisor Assignment
If the advisor becomes unable to continue servicing the insured’s file (for example due to illness, retirement, or death), the file may be assigned to another advisor or agency for continued servicing. The insured may choose their preferred advisor at any time.
Children’s Information
We do not knowingly collect personal information about minors without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Where a policy involves a minor, the parent or guardian is asked to provide and review the information on the minor’s behalf.
Your Right to Complain
Questions or concerns about this Advisor Privacy Statement or our handling of personal information may be directed to our office. If unresolved, the insured may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial privacy commissioner.
